It did not take long to find more inspiration once he came across an archery legend Fred Bear, whom sparked the interest of making bows. After shooting traditional archery for several years he was introduced to his local 4-H program where he was first exposed to competition. Since then he has climbed the ranks on the national level having made several podium finishes and made the Collegiate All-American Team in 2018. Currently Tj continues to gain valuable knowledge and experience he trains for his next goal to make the Olympic team.
